Who or What is in the Driver’s Seat of Your Life?

Who or what is in the driver’s seat of your life? Many people spend so much time in their head, their emotions or in “the doing” part of life, that they come to identify with them. Do you ever get caught up in mind chatter, your feelings, or something you did that rocked your world? Do you have hurts, habits, or behaviors that just aren’t serving you well? When we get attached to something or even someone, it creates unnecessary pain & suffering. Consider answering these questions below:

  • Is someone else in control of your life?
  • Do you have trouble saying no, feel stuck, rejected, or stressed?
  • Do you feel responsibility for others?
  • Are you afraid, worried, or feel unworthy?
  • Do others take advantage of you?
  • Do you pay a price for love?

We’ve all been there at one time or another. So, do you depend on something or someone for your happiness or well-being? If so, you can break free by taking control of your: thoughts, feelings, & behavior. First, you need to identify the attachment that you want to work on so you can do the inner work to break free. Ask yourself if you are attached to one of the following: people, problems, things, a situation, the past or future, thoughts, emotions, behaviors (check out my quiz for greater clarity at: www.breakingfreeboundaries.com).

Once you’ve identified the attachment that you want to work on, you can start the 4-step process. Begin by watching for patterns in your thoughts, feelings & behavior, so you’ll know exactly who or what is running your life as well as the costs.

Regardless of what you need to break free from, the process is basically the same. Breaking free starts with knowing who you are, what you believe, and then taking ownership & responsibility for what’s yours so you have the authority to make the changes in your life to end the suffering.

Remember, you don’t have to do it alone. I offer face to face, phone, or virtual sessions.
